Sorry If I bicker, sorry If I annoy
It's just a little piece of the nature I employ.
Mercy on my sins, mercy on my crimes
I know that I can do wrong from time to time.
Excuse me If I'm moody, excuse me If I want to die.
Pardon when I'm blue, pardon when I'm sad
I can't tell you why, you wouldn't understand.
Forgive my snobby glances, forgive my stone cold stare
It's not that I don't love you, It could be that I care. by Naomi Harris

One Day.
|
|
Oh, sweet oneday
How softly the petal falls
When little child picks the daisy
He honestly adores.
My sweet longing
For a love that is too right,
Oh, sweet oneday
I pray you not to be trite.
And as the child grows
Into a young adult
He endures a punishment
For a crime that's not his fault.
He learns to yearn, he learns to dream
He learns to long for oneday
He'll cross the boundaries of his life
He'll be free someday.
My oneday
How harshly the window breaks
When I hear him scream
with all the strenghth it takes,
And as the young one grows
Into a fertile man,
He learns the art of oneday
He learns to understand.
And by the time he realises
He is withered and frail
To late to tell his son
He's to old to hear the tale
And his grandson
Barely more than four
He couldn't tell him,
It wouldn't be fair for sure,
No, sweet oneday
Into my mind I'll let you creep
For oneday is a dream
Burried in my deep.
And oneday is a curse
For wishing a little while
Yet oneday is so sweet
It can still make me smile.
So hush the poor, old man
Humm not the melody
That tells all we want from oneday
Can never be reality..... by Naomi Harris

An Angel Weeps.
|
A call from the wild,
A silent plea;
Don't leave me now
You gotta help me.
I'll come today
But I'll leave tomorrow.
You take the lead
But don't make me follow.
A tepid stream
Flows right by.
The only noise it makes-
A silent cry.
Feeling pain,
Alone tonight,
Flowers die.
Birds take flight
In admist
The darkness deep
An angel stirs,
I hear her weep. by Naomi Harris.
